In 2016 The Royal Mint celebrates a footballing legacy that is inspiring a new generation of English players to emulate the heroes of 1966.

These are the only official coins struck to celebrate 50 years since Bobby Moore lifted the famous Jules Rimet trophy. Finished to Proof standard, it features an original design by Royal Mint coin designer Emma Noble who was inspired by the 1966 FIFA World Cup England™ logo.

This coin is presented in a polished black case, complete with a fascinating booklet about the tournament. Produced in collaboration with The Football Association, the booklet contains specially sourced imagery, and a donation for every coin purchased will be made to the Bobby Moore Fund.

Coin is 30mm in height and 95mm in width. Coin weighs 185g.
